The Scene
This Vail landmark is situated right next to the covered bridge over Gore Creek. It offers 75 comfortable, distinctly decorated lodge rooms and individually owned condos. Among many advantages, guests enjoy the convenience of a central location--right across the street from the Colorado Ski Museum and only a few steps from the shops and restaurants of Vail Village.

The Details
The lodge rooms are warm and woodsy, and have sitting areas next to fireplaces. The condos--some ski-lodge chic, others mountain modern--all have large dining areas, living rooms with gas fireplaces, complete gourmet kitchens and private balconies. There is a fitness center equipped with weights, cardiovascular machines, and sauna and steam rooms. A 24-hour front desk and concierge can arrange everything from child care to restaurant reservations. The single inconvenience here is parking, since the structure is located across the street; with luggage and ski gear in tow, it can be a long walk.
