The Minturn Saloon is a must see for all visitors to the Vail Valley. Located in historic Minturn, the Saloon has more character than any restaurant west of the Continental Divide. Locals often ski to the Saloon via the Minturn Mile accessed through the back of Game Creek Bowl, in search of a pitcher of margaritas and shots of Jamo. A new patio makes the Saloon even more family friendly, although it is best to keep your kids in the restaurant section as the bar often gets rowdy and fun.

We liked it! Good family place, good food

Patio overlloks the river, nice ambiance. Good selection of items on menu from trad mexican to fancy. Had a great time. Service was great, but our waittess got slammed. No complaints at all. Will eat here again.

• Pros: Nice patio overlooking the river, good food,.good 4 kiddos
• Cons: A little pricey, a little short staffed.
