Tips for Finnegan's Wake Irish Pub Llc

Verbally Abusive Bartender. It seems as though the bartender was not pleased with my tip, which in my opinion was ample. (I used to be in the service industry, so I know how important tipping is.) After paying for a beer and a gin and tonic, the first for me and the second for my fiancee, the bartender came over to us and was verbally abusive, telling me that if I was "going to tip that little, then why bother tipping at all."

I will never go back to this establishment again. It is never permissible to verbally assault patrons, especially not if the patrons are sober and well-behaved.

Shamefully bad conduct.

Awesome... we had a blast! Great Starters (loaded Nachos). Group of Eight, hungry after skiing... we could barely finish the loaded nachos. Great beer specials... classic Irish pub. If you don't like dark wood, ice cold beer, fair prices and huge portions... stay away from Finnegan's Wake. We'll be back!

Best Pub in the Vail Valley...no really!. This Bar offers so much to all age groups. If you want to be part of a "REAL" Irish Bar this is the place. Not a Factory produced tourist wanna be Irish pub. It's the Real Deal. Great atmosphere. Weekends are packed year round with Live music with a mix of all ages and of course lots of young singles. Never a cover Charge and beers are affordable unlike surrounding bars. The bands are always top notch and play great rock n roll. On the weeknights its a nice romantic and calming candle light pub to collect your thoughts and get out of the house. The staff and Managers are friendly always looking to make new friends and really pull it all together for the coolest pub around. Its never a dull scene. Late night singing and dancing to bands to acoustic nights with lots of great chatting to weeknights watching some of the best Football games with friends. Don't overlook this Gem of a Bar! This is a bar where the person next to you buys you a beer just to say hello!

GREAT Pub. I really don't know what everyone is talking about I loved the service and the food is good. It is just a pub. The service is as good as you could expect. I tend to stop in any time I'm in town it is a great local place to go.

Avoid anytime.... Arrived into town and stopped and asked what a good place for a drink and some dinner would be I was told Finnegans wake was a nice place, yea right! That place is really bad it is poorly lit, the service stinks, the management is nonexistent and the one guy that said he was management was so rude you wouldn't believe me. And to ice the cake there are live creatures in the whole building it is truly a disgrace and I would never step foot in that dump again! Please avoid this place at all costs!

WORST SERVICE EVER. stopped in here about a month ago went up to the bar and ordered our beers and went and set on the patio, I should have never done that we were there almost a half an hour, my wife went and got the menu but NOBODY ever came to us to take our order for food or another drink. the patio had a lot of people (must have been locals) and they were all being waited on (very slowly) so we even went back inside were there was maybe 8 people and we set inside for about another 10 minutes with the same results NOTHING, we finally left and went down the street to a place called Bobs Place. were we received very fast and friendly service.

MY SUGGESTION GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

horrible service, bad food, over priced drinks, rude staff. Go once and you'll never go back. The lights are so dim that you can't read the menu. The atmosphere is supposed to be pubby but the music is so loud you can't even have a conversation with the person sitting across from you at the table. Don't even bother asking for the music to be turned down or lights to be turned up...they won't do it. The food is blah, the servers seem inexperienced.
