Well-heeled travelers choose this sprawling, all-suite hotel for its atmosphere, comfort, location, and--most importantly--service. Managing to avoid the kitsch factor, the celebrated staff dresses in traditional Bavarian attire. The decor is contemporary Tyrolean, with massive pine furniture, oversized plaid upholstery and antler chandeliers. The hotel is ideally located, just 200 feet from the ski lifts.

Each of the 88 luxurious suites has down comforters, a gas fireplace and a walk-in closet. The bathrooms have heated tile floors, deep tubs for soaking and thick terrycloth bathrobes. A selection of restaurants serve upscale Colorado cuisine such as lamb and wild game. There is a full-service European spa on-site, offering yoga, indoor and outdoor pools, rejuvenating facials, relaxing massages, a juice bar and more.
