A little bit of history in a convenient location.. The Scene
This favorite of families was built in 1967 and has the distinction of being Vail's first ski-in/ski-out condo community. It is in an ideal location, at the entrance to Vail Village's picturesque pedestrian walkways and just a few steps from restaurants and shops. The express lift is only a few hundred feet from the front door and, after a day on the slopes, guests can ski directly back to the lodge.

The Details
Riva Ridge's 18 two-bedroom condominium suites have moss-rock fireplaces in the living rooms, fully equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms (each with its own bath). The mountain views from the private balconies are magnificent. Right next door, the Willows' 28 one-bedroom, one-bath condos have sleeper sofas in the living rooms. During the winter, guests from both properties enjoy a free continental breakfast and, in the afternoons, hot apple cider and cookies. The properties share a front-desk concierge, a steam room and a 10-person whirlpool. A coin-operated Laundromat is available.
