Not Worth the experience. I would have expected to have a meal that I could taste for days, but my meal (prime rib) was far from tasteful and my wife's fish was nothing to brag about. They were going to charge $50 for my son's chicken strips and fries( they didn't until we mentioned that he was only 3yrs old), the chicken strips were no better that KFC. The outrageous cost for the meal ($99 pp) was extremely disappointing, but you really can't walk out (you arrive by sled). Not pertaining to the meal was the awful odor from the bathrooms that were within the coat-room area, it doesn't cost much for some air fresheners...The meal was very overpriced and the wines were even more overpriced. Your not going to impress anyone after this meal, you will only be depressed....

Beano's is Keeno. The $ designation for this restaurant is incorrect. This place is $$$$, but a great mountain dining experience. You get there in the summer by either van, tractor-pulled wagon, or horseback. Once you reach the large elegant cabin, you're treated to an excellent prix fixe meal ($79 per person), terrific service, and can enhance your meal by selecting one of the 500 wines from their cellar. Our party started with the panko-crusted crab cake, thai seasoned quail, and venison sausage & basil pizza. For entrees we had elk, tenderloin of beef, grilled salmon with artichoke ravioli, and ostrich loin with rolled fettuccine. All were outstanding. Most of the desserts were delicious and artistically presented except for the buttermilk cake which was a bit dry. The live guiarist who played throught the evening made it extra special. Beano's is a must-try when visiting Vail/Beaver Creek.

lame experience. The snowcat was noisy and smoky - the food was average, and we got hurried in and out, jostled around, and experienced a number of service faux pas that you don't normally see at half the price. Save the $300 per couple, and go to the nearest roadhouse.
