United States Best Mexican Restaurant. This restaurant has the best Mexica food that I have found anywhere in the United States. It is not a fast food restaurant so go and plan to stay a while and enjoy. The owners James and Linda are always welcoming and friendly.

Best Mexican Ever. I don't know what that guy with the bad review was thinking! This little place is awesome!

They DO take reservations, and while it wouldn't be considered 'romantic' it sure is FUN. There are Mexicans singing and playing pool in the bar area, the staff is really freindly, and the food is beyond good. Oh yeah - the margaritas!!!! They set the standard. Home cooked - not 'corporate' and pre-made. Any time I am near Leadville I make a point of going there, it's really THE reason I go to Leadville.

So just cuz 'what's his name' there, got a chile stuck in his craw, don't let that stop you, you'll wish you found it years ago.

Horrible experience!. 30 minute wait to be seated, 90 minute wait for our food, wait staff unapologetic, dining room was dingy and dirty looking, seating uncomfortable. They should be embarassed. I recommend steering clear. Just go to McD's. You'll be a lot happier!

Wow, the best kept secret in the mtns. We go to Vail, Summit Co, and now we go to Leadville, just to eat at The Grill.

I can get excited about eating out again. The food is so good, not 'chain' food. Out of the ordinary for sure. They make great margaritas and the place is so vibrant & fun.

Really freindly staff. It made our trip worth while and we' ll go there anytime we are near!

Anyone in town can tell you where it is, because it's not on main street, but down the lower end of town, where it's easier to park I might add.

You can find decent food in Vail, but you sure can pay for it too. At the Grill, it is unbelievably cheap, but they don't give you 'cheap' food. Great value. I can have dinner for under $5 if I'm not too hungry - actually I could get a smothered burrito for under $5 and be stuffed!

Try it, you'll be glad you did.
